Marx Toys’ Operation Moon Base was released in 1962, the year John F. Kennedy gave his now legendary moon speech:

    What a great image! That could’ve been me on Christmas morning, 1962 when I got my Operation Moon Base Set. It was always my favorite Marx playset.
