I will never be cool as that kid.
I believe he is. That’s right at the spot where you get on and they whisk you away.
I had a yellow Han Solo t-shirt. With sparkles. I wore it with pride on my first day of third grade. That kid is my homeboy.
Hey, that’s me! My pal found this post randomly while looking at other stuff on your blog (which is most excellent, by the way). Thanks for including me! and that awesome Chewie shirt.
I still remember going to the t-shirt iron-on store in San Francisco and picking out the shirt colorway to go with the graphic. Then they ironed that shit on for me right there in the store and boom! Instant P.I.M.P.
You are so pimp. No doubt. If it were C-3PO or Luke on that brown and yellow ringer, you’d still be pimp, but not as pimp. Chewie really ties that outfit together.
Must have been a trip when you saw this out of the blue. Thanks for posting the photo, and send me more! Ask your friends to send some too. I want to document the era and I need MORE PIMP!
Those shops where they applied the transfer right to the shirt for you were awesome. We had one in my town (called, imaginatively enough, T-Shirt World) and thanks to them, I had pretty much every Star Wars transfer made by Factors Etc.
