My father still has his, minus the original box. But all the figures and accessories, although he painted them. The hanging onto toys things runs in my family.

I am 76 years young, I had the Marx Prince Valiant Castle, with led and plastic soldiers, and the Marx Western town set, with furniture, the plastic
cowboys, horses, wagons, and add on figurines back in the 1950’s. I also had army led soldiers (British and American made) and plastic as well, and a number of led cannons and vehicles with rubber tires on led wheels. I spent weeks having so much fun and using my God given imagination making these figurines come alive. I well never ever regret these times.
I still have the Castle w/o the cannons, and my well used soldiers. Almost bought the Queen Coronation Coach, but my mother would not let me get it.
If only the children today would have these instead of hand held devices
which take up all their time and brainpower, and live on you knees in the
grass, or bedroom floor, creating stories, and characters, but what can I say? Thanks for sharing. God bless you.
