Album Covers: Megadeth’s Peace Sells… but Who’s Buying? (1986)

Peace Sells-1

Peace Sells-2

Peace Sells-4

Guess what I’m listening to? The artist is Ed Repka.

The term “Megadeath,” according to the OED, was coined in 1953 and means “The death of a million people, esp. as a unit in estimating the possible effects of nuclear warfare.”

One of my favorite Megadeth albums & covers (have always been much more of a Megadeth than Metallica fan). Although I only had the cassette, I spent hours studying the details.

Been listening to this and Rust in Peace for the last several days. So, so good.

I had everything up until Youthanasia, which was the weakest up to that point, but still better than most anything else out at the time.

Killing Is My Business… & So Far, So Good… are my two favorites.
