Hey 2W2N: have you ever seen a sci-fi movie called “Beyond the Black Rainbow”? It’s very polarizing: you either get sucked into the hypnotic pacing and scenery (which I did), or you find it all a pretentious bore. Either way, you’d probably dig the set designs and general look of the movie. It’s set in 1983 and has that late 70’s/early 80’s version of the future: plastic, wood paneling, chrome and glass, all drenched in reds, oranges, and blues. I know I liked it a lot for those very reasons, and it’s worth a viewing even if it’s for the eye-candy only.
