I’m dying to see footage of these babies, especially the Starcruiser, which apparently “flies into space under its own power.” You actually had to put fuel into this thing.

Holy shit! I found it. Look at the son of a bitch go.

Ah, the WishbookWeb never ceases to put a big smile on my face. Sigh. Yet some more toys I remember having. I had a couple of those Mego Star Trek figures (yes, which are worth BUCKS now), and I especially remember having that die cast metal Space Shuttle, which ruled. Man that sucker was heavy!

LoL. Cox. Those things had the most obnoxious, annoying engine sounds ever, and they were loud as hell. I totally remember the box art for that Starcruiser, which I’d see at the local Karl’s Toys & Hobbies store at Fox Hills Mall. Dood, omg. That thing totally disappears in that video! WTF!! I could not stop laughing. Thanks for bringing it all back!

The guy says in the comments section that he did actually find it again. You can see someone start running after it at the beginning of the video. Man, did that thing take off. Love it.

Man, judging by that video, the sales pitch actually rings true…that thing practically did fly off into space, lol. Dang, see how big that field was? Imagine on the typical SoCal park playground, you’d be screwed. Good luck finding that thing again if you launched it out here.
