    Well, to be fair, it’s actually a knock-off of the title robot from the 1982 anime Xabungle, which predates Transformers by a couple of years… 🙂 But who knows when this KO was made?

    Apparently the knocker offers were knocking off each other! I guess the Xabungle name wasn’t licensed (or copyrighted?) in the U.S., so it was a free for all.

      Yeah, there were a whole mess of KO anime robots sold around then in the US also under the name of “Convertors” that came from several shows (including Xabungle) too. Not sure it was the same maker (with re-branding) or not. 😀

    Dood. I finally found the names for my two pet sea monkeys/brine shrimp that have been living in their sealed eco-dome for the past 10 years on my kitchen counter. Taka-Kanaka and Xabungle. Was this pre-destined? Wow.
