Is this a birthday party or a funeral? Cheer up, kids! For one thing, your clothes will never again be this awesome.

Thank god clothes no longer look like that. Other than the kid in the Spider Man shirt which you can find even today, I hope the rest of those clothes burned (not with the kids in them of course). Hated the fashion of the late 70’s/early 80’s I was forced to endure. And yes, I hated it even then. This probably plays heavily into my hating clothes now and not giving a shit about how I look. If its a plain tshirt with a minimal amount of holes, it’s good to me. Anyhow, the birthday boy has part of a smile. I think the rest were yelled at by the camera man and now they are all upset.

Different strokes, folks. =) We can all look back on different aspects of fashion from that era…and either laugh, smile or wince. Either way, there’ll never be another time like it.
