Christmas Morning, 1969: Milton Bradley’s Barnabas Collins: Dark Shadows Game

Christmas 1969

Kid also appears to be dressed up as Barnabas Collins. Wrong holiday, kid! The first goth?

You can also see MPC’s Carry Case Castle on the bottom right. I’m not sure what the other box is.

UPDATE (12/21/15): I’m pretty sure the other box is MPC’s Space Control Center, seen below.

We used to make a skeleton out of the skull and all the leg bones with a foot at the bottom. We called it “String bean”. Then we would turn out the lights and make it dance to Paul McCartney and Wings’ ” Admiral Halsey”.That was a record we got the same Christmas, and played it on a Mickey Mouse Phonograph, which we also got that Christmas.’69 was a fun Christmas!

That kid has a serious vampire fetish. He must have soiled himself when the Twilight series came out.
